Creative Critical Reflection 1#
For my magazine article I have to create a Creative Critical Reflection, I have been looking at examples of layouts and ideas for where to start. I decided that I wanted to create a PowerPoint with a voiceover answering the questions to show what I've learnt, this would make it easy to explain my answers to my questions.
For question 1: "How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social group or issues?"
Since my magazine is about mastering butterfly and freestyle: dive into mental game of swimming.
I have thought about points I will/might use
-Traditional approach: Following a structured breakdown of swimming techniques.
-Target Audience: Beginner and competitive swimmers
Potential social groups or issues
-Mental health in sports
-Mental health in sports
-Motivation and inspiration
-Breaking Stereotypes
-Breaking Stereotypes
While I haven't taken any photos of swimmers or of a swim pool, that is what I have in mind for the future. So far, I have just used the assignments we have done in class to brainstorm ideas. So far, the CCR has made me realize I need to start getting material and images for my magazine so I can formulate a layout.
